Khammam - November 9th, 2011: the micronsurance program for underpriviledged people has reached the second step, four years after its official launch.
One village member has been trained and has reached the qualification of insurance agent for the whole district area of Khammam. Mrs. A. Kumari will be the new responsible for the microinsurance program in 124 villages covered by the Arbor program with the target of offering the opportunity of an insurance to all the women of the rural and tribal areas at a very favourable price.
This program will permit to get an extra saving opportunity for the needy people of the depressed areas of Andhra Pradesh and a covering on natural calamities, death of a family member or loss of crops and animals.
